There are letters to the editor of the Deseret Morning News condemning the Church for doing baptisms for the dead in the Temples for the Jewish holocaust victims. It seems to me that those who feel that way have harsher feelings toward the church than for the Germans that committed those atrocities. For me, I would not have and bad feelings for any church that did vicarious baptisms in their churches for my dead ancestors. I figure that I would be covered in all cases.
