I someone reads this, I would like them to answer this question. Put a five gallon bucket on a turntable. Fill the bucket full of water. Placed a small block of wood in the water close to the edge of the bucket. Turn the turn table on. Now the Question: How many revolutions does the bucket have to make for the block of wood to make one completed revolution? Do the same thing with different liquids or use different weights of oil.
This question is related to the rotation of the earth. The air does rotate equally with the earth. If that happened there would be no wind. Does the interior of the earth rotate equally with the surface of the earth?
